PP. Rtr. Karthik U Chikmath is a second-generation entrepreneur by chance and a Rotaractor by choice! Known for his leadership and commitment, he has dedicated his life to service and community betterment.

Rotary has been an integral part of his life for the last 21 years. Since 2003, he has been an Annet of Rotary Bangalore JP Nagar. He became the Charter Interact President of VET School, JP Nagar in 2010, leading a team of over 25 interactors at the age of 14 and driving large-scale community service events.

In 2021, Karthik became the Charter President of Rotaract Bangalore JP Nagar, leading a team of more than 50 members. His tenure was marked by notable achievements, including “The Best Charter Club” award and the title “The Best Charter President”.

As the Zonal Rotaract Representative (ZRR) of Zone Jaguars in 2022, he guided over 20 clubs with his knowledge and experience. He also co-chaired the ERA 3190, the last Conference of RI District 3190, managing various departments and creating a lasting impact.

As the District Rotaract Secretary for Training and Initiatives (DRS) in 2023, Karthik has curated major district events such as DOTS, TIPSAT, and DTA, and has overseen orientation sessions.

He believes in the power of time management, effective networking, administration, communication, and teamwork as key qualities of a good leader. Karthik is a charming Kannadiga from Bengaluru, a fan of Rahul Dravid, Bengaluru FC, and Namma RCB!
